About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, excellent editing skills, and the ability to refine content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
You will work closely with the content, SEO & marketing teams to ensure our content is clear, engaging, accurate, SEO-friendly, and aligned with our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread website content, blogs, landing pages, articles, and marketing materials.
- Review content for grammar, spelling, sentence structure, readability, tone, and consistency.
- Improve existing content while maintaining the intended message and brand voice.
- Work with writers to provide constructive feedback and improve content quality.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices, including keyword placement, headings, readability, and internal linking.
- Research and understand IT, technology, software, WordPress, SaaS, and digital marketing topics.
- Fact-check content and ensure information is accurate and relevant.
- Review AI-generated content and refine it to make it natural, accurate, engaging, and human-readable.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and brand guidelines across different content pieces.
- Coordinate with SEO and Digital Marketing teams to optimize content for search engines.
- Proofread content before final publishing.
- Understanding of intent mapping.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in content editing, proofreading, content writing, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and content formatting.
- Good understanding of SEO and digital content practices.
- Ability to understand and edit technical/IT-related content.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple content pieces and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with WordPress/CMS is an added advantage.
- Experience with tools such as Grammarly, Google Docs, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools will be an advantage.
