Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Production Engineer to support the manufacturing operations of our wooden toy production unit. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, coordination, and monitoring of production processes to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning daily production schedules based on work orders.
- Monitor and ensure smooth workflow across cutting, shaping, sanding, painting, and assembly.
- Ensure machines and tools are operating efficiently and report breakdowns.
- Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Collaborate with quality control to ensure adherence to product standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Record and maintain daily production reports and metrics.
- Provide technical support to shop floor workers as needed.
- Suggest improvements for process optimization and productivity.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools used in woodworking
- Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team coordination
- Willingness to work in shop floor environment

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
