- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Register new patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and verify existing patient details.
- Facilitate the check-in process by verifying patient information, collecting co-payments or fees, and issuing visitor passes as needed.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
- Ensure smooth check-out process by providing patients with discharge instructions, arranging follow-up appointments, and processing payments.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information about hospital services, appointments, and general inquiries.
- Respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally, directing messages to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Address patient concerns, complaints, or special requests with empathy and professionalism.
- Provide assistance to patients with mobility challenges, directing them to designated areas or arranging for wheelchair assistance.
- Liaise with nursing staff and other departments to address patient needs and requests promptly.
- Maintain electronic and paper-based patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform data entry tasks, update patient information, and generate reports as required.
- Assist with billing inquiries, insurance claims processing, and coordination with finance department.
