Job Summary
The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for handling all incoming enquiries generated through Google Ads, Meta Ads, website, referrals, and other marketing channels. The role involves understanding customer requirements, educating customers about solar power systems, preparing quotations, qualifying leads, and following up until the customer is ready for a site visit or order confirmation.
This is an office-based role requiring excellent communication skills and strong customer follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Call all incoming leads promptly.
- Understand customer requirements and electricity consumption.
- Explain rooftop solar systems, benefits, subsidies (where applicable), ROI, and installation process.
- Qualify leads based on budget, location, roof type, electricity consumption, and buying intent.
- Prepare and send techno-commercial quotations.
- Follow up regularly through calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Schedule site visits for the technical/sales team.
- Maintain complete lead records in CRM/Excel.
- Coordinate with the design and technical team for proposal preparation.
- Resolve customer queries professionally.
- Convert qualified enquiries into sales opportunities.
- Achieve monthly lead conversion and follow-up targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent spoken Hindi and English (Punjabi preferred).
- Strong communication and convincing skills.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Email.
- Ability to prepare quotations and maintain records.
- Self-motivated with a customer-first attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telecalling, customer support, or lead management.
- Experience in the solar, electrical, engineering, construction, or real estate industry will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills may also apply.
