Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – ETP/STP
Location: Multiple Sites (Travel Required)
Job Summary
Responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and site supervision of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) across various project locations. Ensure proper installation, operation, troubleshooting, and performance of mechanical equipment while coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning and start-up activities for ETP/STP projects.
- Supervise installation, testing, and operation of pumps, blowers, agitators, valves, piping, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare maintenance records, commissioning reports, and site progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to HSE and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–8 years of experience in ETP/STP/WTP projects.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
