About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Finance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and accounting within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of GST compliance, inventory accounting, banking operations, and financial coordination. Exposure to international business transactions and coordination with Chinese stakeholders/vendors will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Ensure GST compliance, return filing, and statutory adherence.
- Coordinate with banks for payments, collections, reconciliations, and treasury activities.
- Support capital gains calculations, financial analysis, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and manufacturing finance activities.
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Coordinate with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders for financial and commercial matters.
- Assist in import/export-related financial documentation and payment processes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and audit requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GST compliance and inventory accounting.
- Experience in banking coordination and financial reconciliations.
- Understanding of manufacturing finance and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with international stakeholders.
