Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and guest-focused Captain to supervise restaurant and dining operations while ensuring excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will lead the service team, coordinate daily operations, and create a seamless dining experience for guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a high-quality dining experience.
- Handle guest queries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure prompt and efficient food and beverage service.
Team Supervision
- Supervise stewards and service staff during shifts.
- Allocate duties and ensure smooth coordination among team members.
- Train new staff on service standards, grooming, and hospitality etiquette.
Operations Management
- Oversee table setup, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth order execution.
- Monitor service quality and maintain SOP compliance.
Order & Billing Management
- Take and verify guest orders accurately.
- Ensure timely billing and payment processing.
- Maintain proper coordination with POS systems and billing procedures.
Inventory & Hygiene
- Monitor restaurant supplies and inform management about shortages.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Follow food safety and hospitality guidelines at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in restaurant or resort service operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and team-handling abilities.
- Professional grooming and customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
