**Job Description:**
As an Intensive Care Technician at Ashwini Group of Hospitals, you will play a vital role in supporting the critical care team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the ICU. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient vital signs, operating and maintaining ICU equipment, assisting nurses and doctors with procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of critically ill patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and temperature.
- Assist in the preparation and operation of ICU equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, ECG machines, and monitors.
- Support the medical team during emergency procedures and assist with patient positioning and mobility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient data and treatment procedures.
- Ensure all ICU equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions to the biomedical team.
- Assist in infection control practices and maintain a sterile environment within the ICU.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Follow all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and standards of patient care.
- Participate in routine training and skill enhancement programs to stay updated with the latest ICU practices.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
- Diploma or Certification in Critical Care Technology, Operating Room Technology, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in ICU or critical care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of ventilator management, patient monitoring, and emergency procedures.
- Proficiency in operating ICU equipment and understanding of medical terminology.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate attitude and patient-centric approach.
**Eligibility Criteria:**
- Educational qualification as per hospital standards (Diploma/Certification).
- Relevant clinical experience in critical care settings (preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid certifications such as BLS, ACLS (if applicable).
