Job Description:
We are in search of a creative and proficient Lead Developer specializing in Shopify and WordPress to enhance our vibrant team. This role is central to the creation, execution, and ongoing refinement of our clients' online stores.
Key Responsibilities:
● Engineer and modify Shopify and WordPress sites to deliver anintuitive and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience.● Work in tandem with our design and marketing departments to rollout new site features and capabilities.● Address and rectify any issues affecting site speed, user interfaceresponsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility.● Keep abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies to guarantee our websites are at the forefront of online security and efficiency.● OverseeinternalQAtestingprocess across teammembers, cross-checking deliverables for accuracy prior to client reviews and releases● Offer expert technical advice and support to both clients and our in-house team.
Required Skills and Experience:
● Demonstrated track record as a Shopify and WordPress Developer.● Mastery in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid templating language, and PHP.● In-depth knowledge of e-commerce fundamentals and industry standards.● Proficient in customizing Shopify Liquid and WordPress themes.● Experience with integrating third-party solutions, utilizing plugins,and handling APIs.● Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and communicative prowess.● The ability to thrive in both autonomous and team settings within adynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
● Strong expertise in web development and application design● Hands-on Experience with technology platforms including WordPress, and Shopify platform architecture, API' and Integrations.● Excellent leadership and team management skills● Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills● Experience in Agile methodology and software development practices● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred● Experience in digital marketing and growth hacking would be beneficial● Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
