Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sewing Technician to maintain and troubleshoot industrial sewing machines and support smooth production operations in a garment manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot industrial sewing machines.
- Identify and rectify machine faults and technical issues.
- Perform regular maintenance and machine adjustments.
- Calibrate machines according to garment styles and fabric requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Support production teams in achieving quality and production targets.
- Check stitch quality and ensure correct machine settings.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical problems.
- Train and guide sewing machine operators when required.
- Maintain records of machine maintenance and repairs.
- Follow workplace safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
- Good knowledge of sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of stitch types, machine settings, and garment fabrics.
- Ability to identify sewing defects and provide technical solutions.
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a garment manufacturing environment.
Preferred Candidate
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in garment/textile manufacturing.
- Diploma / ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Should be technically skilled, responsible, and quality-conscious.
- Willingness to work according to production requirements.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
