About the Role
Skyes Glamping Resort, Munnar is looking for an experienced and responsible Resort Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our resort and ensure an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage and guest services
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, queries and complaints professionally
- Supervise and coordinate resort staff and allocate daily duties
- Monitor housekeeping standards and overall property cleanliness
- Coordinate breakfast, campfire, BBQ and other guest activities
- Manage bookings and coordinate with online travel platforms and direct customers
- Maintain daily sales, expense and occupancy records
- Monitor inventory and coordinate purchases
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the property
- Handle staff attendance, discipline and performance
- Drive guest satisfaction, positive reviews and repeat bookings
- Coordinate with the management and provide regular operational updates
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel/resort or hospitality management role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and staff-management abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and hotel/resort booking systems
- Ability to handle guests and operational issues independently
- Good knowledge of English and Malayalam; Hindi is an advantage
- Candidates with experience in Munnar or similar tourist destinations will be preferred
- Willingness to stay at the property if required
