The role
We're hiring an experienced barista to join our bar. You'll own drink quality — dialling in espresso and pour-over to spec — and deliver coffee that lives up to the EMC name, while making every guest feel genuinely looked after.
What you'll do
- Craft espresso and manual brews consistently to our standards
- Run the bar cleanly and calmly through service, including the Saturday rush
- Engage guests with confidence and warmth, and guide them to the right cup
- Maintain station hygiene, equipment, and stock discipline
What we're looking for
- Real barista experience, ideally in specialty coffee-
- Strong English and natural guest presence
- A trained palate four Pour overs and espresso — you can taste the difference between a dialled-in shot and a flat one
- Calm under pressure, sharp on the floor
- People who want to get seriously good, not just clock a shift
