We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and basic network issues while ensuring minimal downtime for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktop and laptop systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Join systems to Active Directory domain and create user profiles.
- Install and configure Microsoft Office, Outlook, and business applications.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support to users.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and IP-related issues.
- Configure email clients such as Microsoft Outlook.
- Perform data backup and data migration.
- Replace and upgrade RAM, SSD/HDD, SMPS, motherboard, and other desktop/laptop components.
- Install antivirus software and perform system health checks.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and update service reports.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams.
- Ensure timely closure of support tickets while maintaining SLA.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of networking and Active Directory.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or CCNA will be an added advantage.
