Assembly & Fitting
- Assemble electromagnetic brakes, coils, armatures, hubs, and mechanical sub-assemblies
- Perform fitting operations using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Ensure correct air gap setting, alignment, and torque tightening as per specifications
- Carry out coil fitting, wiring, and basic electrical connections
Testing & Inspection
- Conduct basic functional checks during and after assembly
- Assist in torque testing, endurance testing, and insulation resistance checks as instructed
- Identify defects, rework issues, and report abnormalities to the supervisor
Quality & Documentation
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality checklists
- Maintain assembly and test records as required
- Ensure products meet quality standards before dispatch
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the assembly area
- Handle tools, components, and materials carefully to avoid damage
