We are looking for a skilled VMC Machine Operator with experience in operating and setting up VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines. The candidate will be responsible for machining furniture components with precision, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and machining specifications.
- Load materials and tools, and monitor machining processes.
- Perform drilling, routing, cutting, and machining operations on furniture components.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to achieve daily targets.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a VMC Machine Operator.
- Experience in the furniture, modular furniture, woodworking, or panel processing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and CNC/VMC operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with MDF, plywood, particle board, or other furniture materials.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
