We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Graphical Abstract Designer to create high-quality scientific visuals, graphical abstracts, infographics, and animated videos for research and publication projects. The ideal candidate should have strong visual storytelling skills and experience with motion graphics and video editing. Similar roles commonly require motion graphics, video editing, animation, and strong visual design skills.
Responsibilities
- Design publication-quality graphical abstracts for research manuscripts.
- Create scientific illustrations, infographics, and visual summaries.
- Edit and produce short-form and long-form videos.
- Develop motion graphics and animations for scientific and educational content.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and researchers to translate complex concepts into engaging visuals.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to publication guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Graphic design and video editing roles typically involve creating visual assets, motion graphics, and multimedia content across digital platforms.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual communication.
- Experience in motion graphics, animation, and video editing.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific information into clear visuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. Motion graphics and multimedia design commonly require expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and animation workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating graphical abstracts for journals or research organizations.
- Familiarity with BioRender, Figma, or similar design tools.
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, medicine, or scientific communication.
- Experience with accessibility-conscious visual design.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
