We are looking for a responsible, empathetic, and organised individual to serve as Warden for our student hostel housing approximately 150–200 residents. The Warden will be the primary point of contact for student welfare, discipline, and day-to-day hostel operations, and will reside on campus.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily student hostel operations including check-in, check-out, late arrival,
- Maintain discipline, enforce hostel rules, and address grievances promptly
- Monitor student welfare, safety, and general health
- Liaise with institute administration, medical staff, and security
- Conduct regular inspection of rooms, common areas, and facilities
- Maintain student attendance, visitor, and incident registers
- Organise orientation and community activities for new residents
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hostel management, counselling, or student administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and decisively
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping
- Willingness to reside on campus (mandatory)
- Knowledge of first-aid is an advantage
Pay: From ₹360,000.00 per year
