Position Title: Coordinator – Dumpers & Drivers Operations DPT.(for a Bulk Cargo Handling Company)
Salary : 30 to 70 K per month
Location: Vizag Port- Visakhapatnam
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related Engineering from NIT or IIT (mandatory).

The Impact You'll Make
As the Coordinator – Dumpers & Drivers Operations, you will be the operational heartbeat of our cargo movement process. You will ensure that every dumper and driver is scheduled, monitored, and optimized for maximum efficiency—minimizing downtime, reducing costs, and ensuring timely cargo delivery. Your leadership will directly influence our operational performance and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations of dumpers and drivers to ensure smooth cargo movement. Monitor fleet performance using GPS tracking and operational dashboards, ensuring optimal utilization. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular briefings to maintain zero-incident operations. Liaise with maintenance teams to schedule preventive servicing and minimize breakdowns. Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements. Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management review. Collaborate with port, yard, and logistics teams to align operations with cargo handling schedules.
What You'll Bring
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related Engineering from NIT or IIT (mandatory). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage a diverse workforce. Proficiency in MS Excel, fleet management software, and GPS tracking systems. Prior experience in logistics, mining, or port operations is an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
