Axiom Consulting is looking for articulate, engineers with a passion and talent for Software engineering to join their Products Initiatives team in Bangalore.

As a Software Systems Architect , you will be responsible for
- problem understanding,
- participate in solution strategy development and architecting,
- driving meaningful outcomes, testing for compliance and deploying solutions.
- The ability to research, develop software modules or applications and help develop solutions collaborating
with other designers and engineers will be critical skills you will need to bring to this job.
We’re looking for T-shaped people who balance their deep understanding of their chosen domain with broad interests and abilities that go beyond their core competencies; In addition to being great at what you do, you’ve got to be a bit of a Jack (or Jane) of all trades to enjoy working with Axiom. If you’re passionate, self-driven and like to take ownership of the work you do, you may be the one we’re looking for. This also implies a certain ‘social cowboy (or cowgirl)’ attitude- you love feeding off team energy but are quite capable of riding solo when needed. We’ve got to be able to throw you in the deep end of the pool and rely on your ability to learn and grow by asking the right questions.
Skill-wise, here’s what we’re looking for-
- Software development experience with a proven ability to convert under-articulated requirements to detailed specification for software developers .
- Ability to build quick proof of concepts to validate business proposition , strengthen voice of the customer, drive tool and environment selection
- Brings in a certain ‘can-do’ attitude and aligns the team with the vision of the organization
- Mentors and coaches the team to help meet and exceed technical charter
- Lives breathes quality , brings in industry best practices to help take to market the highest quality software and is responsible for usability , functionality, and security
- Eyes and ears open to technology innovation for the software product and its development
- Lastly, you need to be an articulate verbal and written communicator who publishes lots of technical papers
Tools-wise, you need to have-
- Development of formal software architecture with sound software engineering principles -> waterfall,
agile. Good experience in database design and development
- The ability to create quick prototype solutions
- Expert level knowledge of developing software solutions using .NET, Java, Android, IOS is also a must
- At least a working knowledge of quick user interface mockup screens is a prerequisite . Knowledge of
Consumer packaging would help
A formal education in engineering is desirable (in fact a degree from a reputed institute could be a good start), but we’re really looking for proven experience and expertise so don’t feel shy to apply if you’re a self-made programmer as long as you’ve got what it takes.
Senior Level Position wherein an experience of 8 -12 Years would be best.
