We are looking for a highly organized and result-oriented Project Manager to oversee customer projects from order confirmation to final delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery timelines. The role requires close coordination with customers as well as internal departments including Production, Purchase, Planning, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage projects from purchase order confirmation through final dispatch.
- Prepare project schedules, milestones, and delivery plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
Customer Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand customer specifications, drawings, and delivery requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates.
- Handle project-related queries and coordinate change requests.
Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Planning, Quality Control, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts.
- Ensure availability of raw materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and remove operational bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with internal teams.
Timeline & Delivery Management
- Ensure projects are completed within committed timelines.
- Track critical deadlines and prioritize urgent orders.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules and customer delivery commitments.
- Escalate delays to management with recommended solutions.
Documentation
- Maintain complete project documentation including quotations, purchase orders, drawings, BOMs, production schedules, inspection reports, and dispatch records.
- Update ERP/project management software with project progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
Quality Management
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Ensure inspections are completed before dispatch.
- Resolve quality-related issues with customers and internal teams.
Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor project costs against budgets.
- Optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement.
- Minimize delays, wastage, and rework.
Risk Management
- Identify project risks related to materials, production, quality, or logistics.
- Develop mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical issues promptly to management.
Team Leadership
- Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Assign project responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- PMP or other project management certifications are an added advantage.

Salary
- As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
