Experienced/Fresher cook needed for a canteen. Must have knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and inventory management. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Monitor food stock and inform management of shortages.
- Store ingredients properly and follow food safety regulations.
- Assist with menu planning and food preparation activities.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or kitchen staff preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
