The Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Kyndryl, you will support software developm ent , platform integration, build/release execution, and DevSecOps enablem ent for a Kyndryl cli ent ’s embedded, cloud-edge, and pro duct engineering environm ent s. This role focuses on CI/CD, automation, containers, Kubernetes, source control, build systems, testing integration, and reliable software delivery pipelines.
Design, configure, maintain, and im pro ve CI/CD pipelines and automated build, release, and deploym ent workflows.
Support DevOps execution across cloud, edge, embedded software, Linux, container orchestration, and platform-integration environm ent s.
Work with Git, DevOps tooling, Kubernetes, containers, open-source software workflows, testing frameworks, and customer- pro vided developm ent environm ent s.
Troubleshoot build failures, deploym ent issues, integration pro blems, environm ent inconsistencies, automation defects, and pipeline quality concerns.
Collaborate with software engineers, cloud/platform engineers, test engineers, technical leads, and support teams to im pro ve release reliability and engineering pro ductivity.
Who You Are
Required skills and experience
8+ years of experience
Experience with CI/CD, Git-based developm ent workflows, containers, Kubernetes, Linux environm ent s, build/release automation, and scripting.
Experience troubleshooting build, deploym ent , integration, and environm ent issues across software engineering pipelines.
Understanding of software developm ent lifecycle, version control, testing integration, and deploym ent governance.
Preferred skills and experience
Exposure to embedded systems, Linux platform engineering, cloud-edge platforms, BSPs, real-time systems, or pro duct engineering environm ent s.
Familiarity with secure software supply chain practices, CVE remediation, SBOM-related workflows, open-source governance, or DevSecOps controls.
Experience with customer- pro vided engineering tools, ticketing workflows, release controls, or compliance-ori ent ed engineering environm ent s.
