Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our retail store operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience in retail sales and operations. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing the store team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational excellence, and achieving business targets while upholding the brand's standards.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Sales & Business Development
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business goals.
- Increase conversion rate, average bill value (ABV), and units per transaction (UPT).
- Promote high-value product categories and maximize profitability.
- Ensure achievement of store KPIs and productivity targets.
2. Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a premium shopping experience.
- Build long-term relationships with customers through regular engagement and follow-ups.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure every customer receives personalized product recommendations.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the store team.
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team productivity.
- Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and professional behavior among employees.
- Identify training needs and improve product knowledge and selling skills.
4. Store Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor housekeeping, safety, and overall store ambiance.
- Maintain store discipline and professional decorum at all times.
5. Inventory & Stock Management
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment.
- Minimize inventory loss through effective stock control measures.
- Participate in periodic stock audits and physical verification.
6. Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain operational records and reports accurately.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and loss prevention measures.
- Coordinate with the corporate office for operational requirements.
7. Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in Retail Sales and Store Operations.
- Prior experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Experience in the Gold & Diamond Jewellery retail industry will be highly preferred.
