Job Title: Safety Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Engineer to ensure a safe working environment across construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies at project sites.
* Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
* Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs.
* Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
* Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain emergency preparedness.
* Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
* Ensure safe work practices for high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, and electrical work.
* Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site engineers to resolve safety issues.
* Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize workplace risks.
Required Skills
* Good knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
* Knowledge of statutory safety regulations.
* Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
* Ability to conduct safety training and audits.
Qualification
* Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical or related field).
* Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or a recognized Safety Certification.
Experience
* 3–8 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction or real estate industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage site safety effectively.
* Willingness to travel across project sites as required.
