A Solar Maintenance Technician ensures the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. They inspect equipment, clean panels, and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime and maximize energy generation. [1]Key Responsibilities
- Routine Inspections: Conduct regular visual and technical checks on solar panels, racking, wiring, and inverters for signs of wear, cracks, or damage.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Remove dust, bird droppings, and debris from solar modules to maintain maximum energy efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Use testing equipment (like multimeters) to diagnose electrical faults, and repair or replace defective components.
- Performance Monitoring: Track system output using monitoring software to detect underperformance or system failures.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to electrical and safety protocols, particularly when working at heights or with high-voltage DC/AC
