Nutritionist/Dietician
Department: Clinical Services – Nutrition & Wellness
Location: MICAA Skin Clinic
Position Summary
The Nutritionist is responsible for providing evidence-based nutritional assessment, counselling, and personalized diet plans to support patients undergoing dermatology, cosmetology, weight management, hair restoration, and wellness treatments. The Nutritionist works closely with dermatologists, cosmetologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through nutrition and lifestyle modifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients.
- Develop individualized diet plans based on medical history, treatment goals, and lifestyle.
- Counsel patients on nutrition related to:
- Weight management
- PCOS
- Acne
- Hair fall
- Pigmentation
- Anti-ageing
- Skin health
- Obesity
- Monitor patient progress through follow-up consultations.
- Modify diet plans based on treatment response.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation for every consultation.
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Provide nutritional guidance before and after aesthetic procedures where applicable.
Treatment Support
Coordinate with dermatologists for patients undergoing:
- Laser treatments
- PRP/GFC Hair Therapy
- QR678 Hair Therapy
- Weight-loss programs
- Body contouring procedures
- Cryolipolysis
- HIFU
- MNRF
- Chemical Peels
- Acne treatment programs
- Hair restoration programs
Provide dietary recommendations that enhance treatment outcomes.
Patient Education
- Conduct one-on-one nutritional counselling.
- Explain food labels and portion control.
- Educate patients regarding supplements where medically appropriate.
- Develop healthy meal plans suitable for Indian dietary habits.
- Promote long-term lifestyle modifications rather than crash diets.
- Encourage patient compliance through regular motivation and counselling.

- Nutritional Assessment Records

Ensure documentation complies with clinic policies.
Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Dermatologists
- Clinic Coordinators
- Front Office Team
- Marketing Team
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions when required.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow clinic SOPs and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure evidence-based nutritional practices.
- Adhere to infection control policies where applicable.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
QualificationsEssential
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition/Public Health Nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification (preferred).
- Certification in Weight Management or Lifestyle Diseases (added advantage).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical nutrition, wellness clinics, hospitals, or aesthetic/dermatology clinics.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.

The Nutritionist shall:
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics.
- Demonstrate empathy and respect toward all patients.
- Follow all clinic policies, attendance rules, grooming standards, and SOPs.
- Continuously update knowledge through professional development and training.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
