We are looking for a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in modern web development technologies and backend application development. You will work closely with our existing Flutter developer to build scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services that support both web and mobile platforms.
This role requires someone who can take ownership of both frontend and backend development, contribute to system architecture, and help create robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Build and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Collaborate with the Flutter development team to design and implement scalable backend solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain database structures and queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in system design discussions and technical planning.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with project managers and team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React.js for frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of database design and management.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):
- Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and deployment processes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with mobile application backends.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable backend systems.
