Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. The candidate will work closely with finance teams, business stakeholders, and technical consultants to streamline financial processes, ensure compliance, and deliver robust ERP solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Module Implementation
- Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets
- Budgeting
- Financial Reporting
- Lead end-to-end implementation activities, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business users and stakeholders.
- Analyze existing finance processes and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), process flows, and solution documentation.
- Provide functional recommendations for system enhancements and process automation.
Financial Operations
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Manage project accounting integration within Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Integration & Data Migration
- Collaborate with technical teams on data migration activities.
- Support integrations with third-party applications, ERP modules, and financial systems.
- Participate in financial process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Testing & User Acceptance
- Prepare functional test scenarios and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate system configurations and customizations.
- Coordinate issue resolution during testing and deployment.
Training & Support
- Conduct end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer.
- Develop user manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues within agreed SLAs.
- Assist users with troubleshooting and process optimization.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular implementation updates.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and customer satisfaction.
Required SkillsFunctional Skills
- 6–8 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant.

Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance architecture.

- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SQL and reporting tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
