About the Role
Val-Ed Initiatives is looking for enthusiastic Psychology graduates who are passionate about working with children and adolescents. This role involves facilitating engaging life-skills, values education, and social-emotional learning (SEL) sessions in schools.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys interacting with students, understands child and adolescent development, and is keen to make a positive impact on young minds through experiential learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate interactive workshops and classroom sessions on life skills, values, emotional wellbeing, and personal development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students.
- Encourage student participation through discussions, activities, reflections, and experiential learning methods.
- Build meaningful rapport with students and support their social-emotional growth.
- Deliver sessions using Val-Ed's curriculum, modules, and learning resources.
- Observe student engagement and provide feedback to the Program Team.
- Collaborate with fellow facilitators and team members to continuously enhance session effectiveness.
- Maintain professionalism while representing Val-Ed in partner schools.
- Adhere to programme schedules, reporting requirements, and organisational guidelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Applied Psychology, Child Development, Education, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in teaching, facilitation, counselling, youth development, or education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking to groups of students and managing classroom interactions.
- Empathetic, energetic, and student-centric approach.
- Ability to build trust and connect with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), life skills education, or child psychology is an added advantage.

Working Clauses & Requirements
- This is a Part-Time/Freelance role.
- Candidates must sign a confidentiality agreement with Val-Ed Initiatives.
- Punctuality and professionalism are essential while conducting sessions in schools.
Special Clause
- In the event of discontinuation of the engagement, a notice period of one month will apply.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
