Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Production Chemist / QA & Documentation Executive who can independently manage production operations, quality assurance, documentation, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing records.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Plan and supervise daily production activities.
- Prepare and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Prepare Batch Packing Records (BPR).
- Develop and update Master Formula Records (MFR).
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
- Verify raw material dispensing and reconciliation.
- Calculate production yield and investigate process losses.
- Ensure proper line clearance before batch commencement.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Perform raw material inspection and approval.
- Conduct in-process quality checks.
- Review and approve finished products.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA).
- Maintain retention samples and stability study records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and internal quality standards.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain equipment cleaning and usage logbooks.
- Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance records.
- Record temperature and humidity monitoring.
- Maintain water system validation records.
- Manage document control and record retention.
- Prepare and maintain:
- Deviation Reports
- CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action)
- Change Control Records
- Training Records
- Batch Traceability Documents
Regulatory Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and applicable AYUSH regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Review product labels and packaging for regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections.
Required Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- M.Sc. (Chemistry)
- BAMS (Candidates with manufacturing experience are preferred)
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Ayurvedic, Herbal, Nutraceutical, or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, GMP documentation, and regulatory compliance.
