Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Talend ETL Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using Talend Data Integration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable data integration pipelines, working with multiple databases and APIs, optimizing ETL performance, and ensuring seamless data movement across enterprise systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL jobs using Talend Data Integration.
- Develop and support data integration solutions across multiple source and target systems.
- Work with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Integrate data from REST APIs and SOAP APIs into enterprise applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures and data-related issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for efficient data processing.
- Ensure ETL processes adhere to industry best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL workflows, data mappings, and data flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement efficient data integration solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL jobs using Talend Data Integration.
- Strong experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake databases.
- Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs and SOAP APIs.
- Good understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data transformation techniques.
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL best practices.
- Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing ETL workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Talend Remote Engine, including sizing, performance tuning, security, and data privacy.
- Experience in ETL performance optimization and deployment best practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise data integration architecture and cloud-based data platforms.
