Job Overview
The Test Engineer for 800xA Engineering is responsible for validating, verifying, and ensuring the quality of control system configurations, applications, and software developed on the ABB 800xA DCS platform.
The role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, documenting results, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Review functional design specifications and develop corresponding test cases
· Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing on ABB 800xA-based solutions
· Document defects and track resolution through collaboration with engineering teams
· Prepare test reports and ensure deliverables meet project quality standards
Required Skills
· Hands-on experience with ABB 800xA DCS Engineering Product
· Strong understanding of control system concepts, industrial automation, and networking
· Experience in writing test cases
· Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
