Roles and responsibilities - To mobilize the students for the learning center - Manosakha, to teach the students and implement other activities as per the program guidelines, evaluate the children to assess their progress, conduct house visits, and work closely with the parents of the enrolled children.
1. Work directly with the Purnkuti Project Coordinator / Assistant Manager to help implement project goals.
2. The core activity of the teachers would be teaching the students at Manosakha Center
3. Working closely with the parents and the schools where the children are studying.
Mobilize students for the program, prepare their profiles once they are selected for the program, and collect their documents.
4. Educational inputs -
- Daily 2-3 hrs teaching.
- General knowledge.
- Life skills sessions.
- Conduct ASER Evaluations and prepare reports.
- Conduct regular exams and prepare student progress reports.
- School visits for discussing the progress of the children in the school.
- Enroll the school dropouts in the schools.
- Motivate and support girl children to pursue education.
- Coordinate other Project activities
- Arrange parents meeting on a monthly basis.
- Conduct home and school visits and prepare reports.
- Conduct all activities under CSR-supported projects as per the targets / as per the Manosakha Project guidelines (For example - Teaching, arts and craft activity, life skills sessions, health and nutrition, personality development, parents meetings, home visits, school visits, etc.,)
- Refer the students to appropriate agencies for counseling, health-related issues or any kind of abuse or legal issues under the guidance of the Program Manager.
- Embibe good values and discipline in the children.
- Assist Supervisors in documentation by writing the basic profiles of the children, and project-related data entry. testimonials, audio, and visual documentation, and assist with data for writing survey reports, CSR reports, and annual reports.
- Assist the management in carrying out employee engagement activities, donor visits, and other annual events of the organization.
Any other task assigned by the management.
