About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to support business operations through data management, reporting, automation, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, improving reporting efficiency, and developing scalable data solutions that support organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and business performance.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Database & Data Management
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Implement data validation and quality-control processes.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and operational workflows.
- Build automated reports, dashboards, and data pipelines using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.
- Recommend system enhancements and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
- Support implementation and optimization of reporting and automation projects.
Business Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and customized reports for management.
- Support data-driven decision-making through actionable insights and recommendations.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data models, and automation processes.
- Follow data governance and confidentiality standards.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros, VBA basics)
- SQL (Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Query Optimization)
- Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Power BI or Tableau
- Data Modeling and ETL concepts
- Dashboard development and reporting automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Applications, Commerce, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, MIS Reporting, Business Intelligence, or related roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with process automation projects.
- Knowledge of ERP or cloud-based reporting systems.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
