Job DescriptionThe Backend Engineer will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing server-side applications and APIs that power scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. This role requires deep expertise in backend technologies, databases, cloud platforms, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable digital products.Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines with high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize system architecture for scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration with databases, third-party services, and internal APIs.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold engineering excellence.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues across development and production environments.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in backend development.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks (Node.js, Java, Python, Go, .NET, etc.).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and working knowledge of GraphQL.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of system design principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of application security, data protection, and compliance standards.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
