Manage and maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting issues.

Perform routine server maintenance, including patching, updates, and performance monitoring.

Manage storage systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Provide hardware support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues.

Configure and manage SAN switches, ensuring optimal storage connectivity and performance.

Manage and maintain SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Perform storage provisioning, zoning, and configuration of storage arrays and SAN switches.

Monitor and optimize storage systems to ensure efficient utilization and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to storage infrastructure, including connectivity and performance problems.

Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for storage systems.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement storage solutions that align with business requirements.

Conduct regular audits and capacity planning to ensure storage systems meet current and future needs.

Maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures.

Manage and maintain backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability.

Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs, addressing failures and optimizing performance.

Plan and execute Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) and Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) server migration projects across diverse platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV and other Virtualization platform.

Strong knowledge of storage systems of multiple OEM like Dell, Netapp, Hitachi, etc and SAN switch configurations (Cisco & Brocade).

Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of Active Directory and server management.
-
Extensive experience with SAN and NAS technologies, including storage arrays and switches.
-
Proficiency in storage provisioning, zoning, and performance tuning.
-
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, etc).
-
Experience with cross-platform server migration tools and techniques.
