We are seeking a skilled MIG & ARC Welder to join our steel furniture manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, and assembly of mild steel furniture components while maintaining quality standards and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and ARC welding on mild steel furniture components.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Cut, fit, align, and weld metal sections as per specifications.
- Fabricate furniture items such as tables, chairs, racks, cabinets, workstations, and storage units.
- Inspect weld quality and ensure smooth finishing before painting or powder coating.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting machines, and hand tools safely.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
- Meet daily production targets and quality requirements.
- Assist in assembly and installation activities when required.
Requirements
- ITI Welder or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in MIG & ARC welding.
- Experience in steel furniture fabrication will be an advantage.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and equipment maintenance.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
