Job Title:
Freelance Architect Job Summary: SpaceDraft is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Freelance Architect to collaborate with our Design Studio team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and supporting the execution of innovative and functional spaces aligned with client requirements and Space Draft's design standards. Key Responsibilities:1. Project Design & Development
- Develop creative architectural concepts for residential, commercial, and interior turnkey projects.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, working drawings, and 3D models.
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc., to present design proposals.
- Create 3D walkthroughs and high-quality renderings using Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar tools.
2. Client Coordination
- Participate in virtual/client meetings to understand project requirements.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions.
- Ensure timely submission of design updates as per project milestones.
3. Technical Documentation
- Prepare construction drawings, BOQ inputs, and detailed specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, and project standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Tender, Project Management, Procurement) for feasibility and cost alignment.
4. Site Support (If Required)
- Provide design clarification during execution stages.
- Address site queries and suggest design solutions remotely or during site visits (if applicable).
Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- Masters Degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in architectural design.
- Experience in civil construction and interior turnkey projects preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
- Expertise in 3D visualization tools (Lumion / 3ds Max / V-Ray).
- Strong design sensibility and visualization skills.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and detailing.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
