STG Journey India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and result-oriented Contracting Manager to manage supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements with hotels, resorts, transport vendors, DMCs, and other travel service providers. The role requires strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to secure competitive rates and value-added services to enhance our travel offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with hotels, resorts, DMCs, airlines, transport providers, and other travel suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international travel partners.
- Secure competitive rates, special offers, and exclusive deals for clients.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand product offerings.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to meet business requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, rates, and supplier agreements.
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth operational support.
- Prepare periodic reports on contracting activities, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Travel & Tourism, Hotel Contracting, Procurement, or Supplier Management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Hotel and DMC contracting experience.
- Strong networking and relationship management abilities.
- Commercial and analytical mindset.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of travel products and destination management.
