Job Summary
N.R. Engineering Industries is seeking a strong, resilient, and highly disciplined HR Manager to lead our human resources department and drive plant-wide operational excellence.
We are currently transitioning into a high-performance culture backed by strict discipline, productivity matrices, and accountability. We are not looking for a passive administrator; we need a dynamic, firm, and legally sound HR leader who can enforce company policies, manage grievances effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Enforcement & Discipline: Enforce plant rules regarding punctuality, shift attendance, workplace discipline, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Performance Matrix Management: Own and maintain the monthly performance tracking database (tracking employee KPIs, attendance points, and compliance logs) to determine monthly incentives.
- Strict Recruitment & Verification: Manage end-to-end recruitment for office staff and factory floor labor, ensuring 100% mandatory background checks, reference checks, and certificate verification.
- Statutory & Labor Compliance: Ensure flawless compliance with factory acts, labor laws, PF, ESI, and local industrial regulations in Coimbatore.
- Grievance Handling & Conflict Resolution: Act as a fair but firm bridge between management and the factory floor, handling disputes and maintaining a productive work environment under high-pressure timelines.
- Structured Onboarding & Offboarding: Implement strict notice period compliance, absconding policies, and flawless "No Dues Certificate" (NDC) processes before issuing relieving documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MBA in HR or a postgraduate degree in Labor Welfare/Industrial Relations.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of core HR experience explicitly within a manufacturing plant or engineering environment. Experience dealing with factory labor, line-incharges, and department heads is mandatory.
- Key Skills: Excellent command over Tamil and English (written and verbal), strong knowledge of labor laws, conflict management, and high emotional resilience.
- Personality: Assertive, highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where management sets aggressive growth targets, and capable of holding people accountable.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
