Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, a good understanding of modern web technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Design and work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Follow best practices for code reviews, version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Next.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
Good to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience working on enterprise or IoT applications, SaaS platforms, or web-based solutions.
