Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our vibrant healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in the assessment and implementation of nursing plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, providing education to patients and their families, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Nurse will also assist in procedures and coordinate with other departments to facilitate timely and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and respond to medical emergencies.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current in nursing practices.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or country.
- Strong clinical skills with a solid understanding of patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient safety standards.
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
- Compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
