Overview
Lotus Microwave Technologies is developing next-generation RF, Radar, and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems based on modern FPGA and RFSoC platforms.
We are looking for a hands-on FPGA Applications Engineer to develop FPGA firmware, high-speed signal processing pipelines, and hardware/software co-designed systems for Advanced Radars and RF applications. The role involves board bring-up, algorithm implementation, subsystem integration, laboratory validation, and field deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA firmware for radar, RF, communication, and EW systems.
- Implement DSP algorithms using Verilog/SystemVerilog and High-Level Synthesis (HLS).
- Port signal processing algorithms from Python/MATLAB executable specifications to FPGA firmware.
- Develop high-throughput streaming architectures and hardware accelerators.
- Integrate ADCs, DACs, RFSoCs, and high-speed interfaces.
- Multi-tile and Multi RFSoC synchronization
- Support FPGA board bring-up, debugging, laboratory testing, and field trials.
- Collaborate with algorithm, embedded, RF, and systems engineering teams.
- Participate in system architecture, subsystem development, and technical proposals.
Essential Technical Skills
FPGA Platforms
Experience with one or more of:
- AMD/Xilinx UltraScale+, Zynq MPSoC, RFSoC
- Intel Agilex, Stratix, Arria
- Microchip PolarFire SoC
FPGA Development
- Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL
- FPGA synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and debugging
- High-Level Synthesis (AMD Vitis HLS, Intel HLS, or equivalent)
- AXI4, AXI4-Stream, AXI4-Lite
- Clock domain crossing and FPGA optimization
High-Speed Interfaces
- JESD204B/C
- DDR memory interfaces

Signal Processing
Experience implementing one or more of:
- FFT/IFFT
- Filtering

Working knowledge of:
