Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Installation Oversight: Direct the on-site assembly, alignment, and installation of modular furniture units (kitchens, wardrobes, workstations, and storage systems).
- Vendor & Factory Coordination: Liaise with modular manufacturing units and OEM suppliers to coordinate production, packing, loading, and timely site dispatch.
- Drawing Interpretation & Site Verification: Read shop drawings, exploded 3D views, and hardware callouts; conduct pre-installation site readiness checks (plumb, level, electrical/plumbing points).
- Material Inspection & Hardware Management: Verify factory dispatches against delivery dockets, inspect panel finishes and edges for transit damage, and manage hardware stock on site.
- Quality Assurance & Snag Rectification: Inspect hardware fitments, soft-close mechanisms, hinge adjustments, and edge-banding gaps; resolve all snags prior to final client handover.
Key Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Woodworking/Furniture Technology, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of practical site/project experience in modular furniture installation and corporate/residential interior fit-outs.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineered woods (MDF, HDF, Commercial/BWP Plywood), laminates, acrylics, edge-banding types, and fittings (Blum, Hettich, Hafele, Ebco).
- Core Skills: Keen eye for detail, basic site measurement accuracy, and effective coordination skills with factory teams, fitters, and project leads.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
