Job Description – Design Engineer (Fabrication Industry)
Designation: Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Convert customer requirements into manufacturing-ready designs.
- Coordinate with production to resolve fabrication and assembly issues.
- Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Optimize designs for ease of manufacturing, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Manage design revisions and engineering change requests.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate with quality, production, and procurement teams.
- Maintain all design records and technical documentation.
