Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive (Cost Analysis) to support management with cost monitoring, profitability analysis, and MIS reporting. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost-related reports, analysing variances, monitoring expenses, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product-wise, department-wise, and project-wise cost analysis reports.
- Monitor manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and operational costs.
- Analyze cost variances against budgets and historical data.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas of inefficiency.
- Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Prepare profitability and margin analysis reports.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and ERP data.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of management reports.
- Collect, compile, and validate data from various departments.
- Reconcile cost data with accounts and operational records.
- Track key cost drivers and prepare trend analysis reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in MIS reporting, cost analysis, accounts, or finance functions.
- Advance Excel is preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
