Job Summary
Agricare Corporation is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to promote and sell its range of agricultural products and farm maintenance solutions including fertilizers, plant nutrition products, gardening tools, lawn mowers, shrub cutters, terrace gardening products, and small farm equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for generating market demand, increasing dealer engagement, conducting field demonstrations, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role requires regular interaction with farmers, dealers, retailers, and institutional buyers to strengthen market presence and customer relationships.
Freshers with agricultural knowledge and experienced agricultural sales professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Generate sales and business growth in the assigned territory.
- Promote Agricare Corporation’s agricultural and gardening product portfolio.
- Conduct regular field visits to farmers, dealers, nurseries, and farmhouses.
- Develop and maintain strong dealer and distributor relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Conduct product awareness campaigns and demonstrations.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure timely order collection and payment coordination.
- Maintain daily sales and visit reports.
Dealer and Farmer Coordination Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with farmers and direct dealers.
- Coordinate with dealers for stock management and product availability.
- Support dealers in increasing product visibility and customer engagement.
- Resolve dealer and customer concerns related to products and services.
- Educate farmers on product usage, benefits, and application methods.
- Organize farmer meetings and dealer interaction programs.
- Maintain strong after-sales support and follow-up activities.
Sales & Business Development Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
- Develop new dealers and retail channel partners in the territory.
- Generate demand for fertilizers, plant nutrition products, and gardening equipment.
- Identify high-potential markets and customer segments.
- Promote seasonal and newly launched products.
- Increase market penetration in rural and semi-urban areas.
- Drive repeat business through relationship management.
Product Promotion and Demonstration Activities
- Conduct live demonstrations of gardening and agricultural equipment.
- Organize product awareness campaigns and promotional activities.
- Demonstrate usage and maintenance of lawn mowers, cutters, and gardening tools.
- Educate customers on product benefits and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and local events.
- Distribute product brochures and marketing materials.
Territory Management Responsibilities
- Plan daily and weekly travel schedules for maximum market coverage.
- Cover assigned villages, towns, nurseries, farms, and dealer locations.
- Maintain territory sales records and customer databases.
- Track sales performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Ensure visibility and availability of products across the territory.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Agriculture
- Horticulture
- Agribusiness
- Marketing
- Any related field
Candidates with strong field sales experience in agriculture products may also apply.
Experience Required
- Freshers with an agriculture background can apply.
- 1–5 years of experience in:
- Agricultural sales
- Fertilizers
- Plant nutrition products
- Irrigation products
- Gardening tools
- Farm equipment sales preferred.
