Production Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute daily and monthly High Mast production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the approved schedule.
- Monitor production flow and minimize delays, wastage, and downtime.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager for production priorities.2
- High Mast Manufacturing Process
- Supervise manufacturing activities including plate cutting, bending, forming, welding, grinding, assembly, and finishing.
- Ensure proper fabrication of pole sections as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor dimensional accuracy, welding quality, alignment, and overall workmanship.
- Ensure proper assembly of High Mast components such as winch mechanism, lantern carriage, raising/lowering system, and accessories.
- Manpower Management
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Supervise workers, welders, fabricators, helpers, and machine operators.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and proper utilization of manpower.
- Provide necessary work instructions and monitor employee performance.
- Quality Control
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Check dimensions, welding joints, surface finish, alignment, and assembly quality.
- Identify production defects and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, customer specifications, and applicable standards.
- Material & Machine Management
- Coordinate with Stores for timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce unnecessary wastage.
- Ensure proper use and handling of production machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workers follow all factory safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain safe working practices during cutting, bending, welding, lifting, and material handling.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near-miss incidents to the concerned authority.
- Production Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports and records.
- Record manpower deployment, production quantity, rejection/rework, material consumption, and machine downtime.
- Prepare shift-wise/monthly production reports as required.
- Interdepartmental Coordination
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Planning, HR, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure smooth movement of materials and finished products.
- Support timely completion of customer orders and dispatch schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or related engineering discipline preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in pole manufacturing, steel fabrication, structural fabrication, or High Mast production will be preferred.
Required Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in production/fabrication, preferably in High Mast, Octagonal/Conical Pole, Street Light Pole, or steel fabrication manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, bending, cutting, and production planning is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
