Job Summary:
Sainmarks Industries India Private Limited is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot Airjet, Rapier, or Jacquard loom machines. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical maintenance knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to minimize machine downtime while ensuring smooth and efficient production operations in the weaving department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance for Airjet, Rapier, and Jacquard loom machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Inspect, repair, and replace machine components to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain loom settings, alignment, timing, and synchronization for optimum performance.
- Carry out routine checks and execute maintenance schedules effectively.
- Support machine setup and maintenance during style changes and production requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain lubrication schedules and ensure proper upkeep of machine parts.
- Record maintenance activities and maintain machine history documentation.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of spare parts.
- Follow company safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns and improve productivity.
- Guide operators on basic machine care and preventive maintenance practices.
