Role Description- This is a full-time, on-site (4)Panchakarma Therapist role based in Gurgaon. The Panchakarma Therapist will provide professional Ayurvedic therapies including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, and other Panchakarma procedures as prescribed by Ayurvedic physicians and medical practitioners.
Daily responsibilities include preparing therapy rooms, managing treatment materials and oils, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of treatments. The therapist will educate clients on pre- and post-therapy care, support integrated treatment plans with the medical and nutrition teams, and monitor client comfort and response during sessions. The role also involves collaborating closely with the clinical staff, following established protocols, and contributing to a calm, respectful, and healing environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Formal training and certification in Panchakarma and Ayurvedic therapies from a recognized institution.
- Hands-on experience performing core Panchakarma procedures (e.g., Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Basti) with strong technique and client care.
- Sound understanding of basic Ayurvedic principles, body constitution (Prakriti), and contraindications for specific therapies.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control in therapy rooms and treatment equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and respond to client feedback with empathy.
- Capability to follow medical and wellness protocols, work closely with doctors, nutritionists, and health coaches, and document sessions accurately.
- Commitment to gender-neutral, respectful, and non-discriminatory client care, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Previous experience in a clinical, wellness center is preferred; experience in integrative or preventive healthcare is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling, electronic records, and internal communication; proficiency in English and local languages is beneficial.
